I inherited these High Standard Double Nines from my Uncle. The nickel plated one is the first handgun I shot as a youngster back in 1959. The one in the crappy photo on the bottom has the .22 Mag cylinder with it in the presentation box.

I've had several of the Double-Nines (it came with both cylinders) and have for some forgettable reason traded them all away, in fact for a few years I've had in my desk drawer rolling around the extra cylinder and crane (not sure LR or Mag.), one day maybe I'll get another [:)]. They're nice pistols [;)]

I got this High Standard Natchez at a garage sale. The HS collectors tell me it's hard to find. I gave it to my son with two other Double Nines. You rarely see any High Standard at gun shows. The nickel one was my first revolver, I bought it used in the 60s for $35.00.

They are a pretty nice little .22. I think that once someone gets one they never get rid of them.
