.....and now,its "Messicans".....I spent 4 hrs on my land line yesterday trying to solve a questionable bill!...I had gotten a sudden increase from $203.00 per month to 349.00 a month....then I got my first Messican..."Hehwo"! Si!.....Uhhh Hablo English?.....Si!....click..... 2 min. later same thing....So, I go to "retention service"(supposed to talk you out of leaving)...after hanging on for 45 min. ....this voice says: Hehwo! .....bang! Slam the phone down....When I finally got through, and got my bill straightend out, I was giving her my credit card number......that was a real contest!...She never could get the numbers straight...we went over the card at least five times....finally I said enough!.Please get me some on that can speak English...and she did..[:o)]

    Frustrating isn't it!?

I usually act like a whiney little girl until I get an English speaking person. Just keep saying "what" "huh" or whatever till they get tired of it and get someone on the phone that speaks English.

This is why I did not follow in line with everyone with everyone else when working overseas and get married to an Asian girl, I do not like language barriers and dating a Pilipino was a challenge due to language. I found me an American girl who does not have a language barrier except for maybe accent/slang issues [:D] She tells me I have a southern accent, I most certainly do not and the many folks on here I have met or spoken to via phone will tell you I have no daggum accent!!!!

Huh, most of the call centers I seem to talk with are in the Philippines, where apparently everyone, including the women is named George, or India, where most seem to be named Tiffany, or Andrew. I could habla more easily.

A while back I bought a DeWalt pressure washer and I had a small problem with the pick-up for the soap dispenser and needed to ask a question about it. I called their customer service line and some Spanish speaking woman answered the phone. After a couple of minutes of trying to understand what she was saying I finally asked if she'd put someone on the line that spoke English. She just hung up on me! So I says to my self if those A holes want to play that way I'll just take the damn thing back and that's what I did. I took it back to Home Depot and got my money back. I guess they think that hiring those illegals save them money. I'm going to do that for everything I buy in the future that I have a problem with. They put a foreigner on the line that I can't understand, then it's going back for a refund!! [:(!]
