I would have guessed the fastest moving ball coming from a gun.
"BALLS" coming from firearms, are ,for the most part, considered BULLETS.

That's one brave, brave, dude! All those top fuel guys (and gals) are. Met him once in Denver at the Mile High Nationals. Stood trackside when he launched off on a 300mph run. I thought I was standing in the middle of the Apocalypse!!! Scared my buddy so bad he dove under the bleachers! You ain't lived until you've stood next to a top fueler when they light off! You don't hear it...you live/feel it!
