This state is full of great B-B-Q. Angelo's in Ft. Worth, David's in Arlington, and that is just local and known.

I've never had barbecue like there is in central Texas.

Those Czech immigrants use good meat, good cooking methods and unbelievable seasonings.....but no sauce...(for the most part).

I've never been to the Salt Lick in Spicewood but I hear it is excellent as well.

The list is incomplete. The Branding Iron in Wichita Falls, TX is the best Bar-B-Que I've ever had. Their Pork Shoulder is the Awesome. The ribs were so tender the meat would fall off the bone when you tapped it on your plate. When I was stationed at Sheppard AFB I would eat lunch there 2 - 3 times a week.
