I wonder...

...Will Billy Graham receive the sort of accolades heaped upon Pope John Paul II when he dies?

He doesn't "lead" a church, he isn't God's second-in-command, but his Crusades are probably responsible for sharing the Gospel with more people, worldwide, than any other single man or organization in history.

What gas prices are going to do today. I topped off my tank and my wifes tank on the tip from our local little station. I paid $2.68, he told me to fill up everything I had cause today his cost was going to be over $3/gal. I wonder where that will put it for the consumer.

... if there's any correlation between a gun owner's personality and the type of gun they prefer to shoot.

I mean, they've done personality tests based on what pets people own, what TV shows they watch, and what food they eat, but they never have done a study wherein gun owners and their guns are categorized in terms beyond, "Stark raving survivalist lunatic with paranoid tendencies*."

*I only wish I was joking... most academics are pretty paranoid about guns and gun owners.

I mean, for example, are people who prefer shotguns more "scatter-brained" than, let's say, people who shoot rifles? Are people who shoot .22's more self-assured than people who shoot .50 BMGs, who may feel that they have something that needs compensating for?

I know psychology is a pseudo-science at best, but it does make for some interesting correlations...

Just wondering what our Special Forces are doing right now. I know their missions are secret and letting us know what they're doing and where they're doing it would be really, REALLY stupid, but you just got to wonder how many Iraqis the Navy SEALs (or the SAS) are messing up right now.

Too bad the Foreign Legion ain't in this one... have to sit this one out beating up on Ivorian rebels on the *-end of Africa...

Oh well... I'll just have to wait a few years for the details to be declassified and come out.

The retail stations are not making much per gallon. Less than ten cents at most stations.
