My solution is Sam's Club. No need for special hardware, nowhere as expensive as field meat, and it all comes in neat little packages. Even better I'm able to "harvest" whenever I please![:D][;)]

The one common thing I see in all those pictures is,there's not 4 feet of snow,,

I have about 20 feet of rope coiled up in my small pack that I use for dragging a deer out of the woods. I can use the same rope to hang it in a tree for skinning.

I too don't hunt in 4' of snow. I've never seen game when snow is that deep.
