Stevens Model 84C (Pic Added)

Acquired one of these in good shape, CHEAP. but cant find anything about it in the gun books. Its marked Springfield, but made by J Stevens. has side mounted scope mount and 4 power weaver scope on it. Clean little bolt action .22, instead of the normal 5 shot mag, it holds 9. Must be an after market mag..

    84 was mfg pre 1948

    A friend of mine had it and he twisted my arm, so I gave him 50 bucks for it. It has 90 percent of blue, stock has a couple minor scratches that can be take care of with steel wool, and all internal parts have no visable wear on em.[:p][:p]

    Stevens/Springfield Model 84.............NiB $163 Ex $130 Gd $88

    Same as Model 86,except W/5-shot detachable magazine(86 had tubular mag).Pre-48 were designated Springfield mod.84,Later known as Stevens mod.84.Made 1940-65.
