In celebration of another semester of college ending I took my girlfriend shooting. I can't even begin to say how much an improvement over my anti-gun ex she is [:D].

I'm glad you found a female that you can enjoy shooting with! I've had a few that didn't care for firearms(they didn't last long), a few that feigned interest(lasted a little longer), one one that actually suggests/insists that she go with me once or twice a month(finally a keeper!).

Just an observance... suggest that next time she shoots from the sitting position that she tucks one leg under the other and leans forward into the rifle. This makes it a little more comfortable, increases accuracy, and decreases recoil. I love teaching small arms to females because they're like sponges taking in what is said and trying to apply it correctly.

She certainly sounds like a keeper ... blessings on y'al!

The shooting berm, however, does not look all that great.

Yeah, I don't think the mulch pile backstop was very effective. Its hard to tell from the pic, but there is a small hill in the woods behind the pile.

HOF, be careful. Its a scam! When first dating my wife, we often went shooting and four wheeling in the woods. A good looking woman that loved shootin' and mudding. A match made in Heaven! Or so I thought. Things are a whole lot different now. She became some sort of prima donna. Won't go shooting anymore or wheeling. Worst part is she reads me the riot act whenever I buy a new toy.[:(]

Hey, your girl got a sister?[:D]

Don't listen to him. I married my wife before we owned any firearms. Now that I've started buyin a few, she loves shooting them. From my Mod 60 to the M44 Nagant, the Buckmark to my CZ. She loves eveyone of them. Good looking gal, we need to get together sometime.
Everyone at the range loves to see a girl, especially a petite, cute, city girl, as my wife is. She's scared bababooeyless of spiders, but she'll group my 40 in 3" @ 10yds.

Good job! You have good taste in women. Its refreshing to see that you have introduced her to the shooting sport. Glad to see she has the hearing protection.

I was not that smart when I was young and my first wife has some high frequency hearing loss from shooting my 45 ACP without hearing protection.

To be honest, I didn't even think of eye protection. I've been shooting my whole life and never used them. I guess now is as good a time as any to start. Anyone recommend any specific brands/models?

Imagine my shock to see a hottie posted on here. Add the weapon and the ol' blood pressure shot right up(leave it alone, perv). Ever hear the phrase, "I trust you with my life but not my money or my wife"? Don't get me wrong - post all the hotties with firearms you want. It just surprised me, that's all.

    HVF,
Your lady needs to get a cheek weld on the stock of the AR....She has the buttplate too far down under her arm....she probably would shoot even better than you if she did...!!

Okay, we're getting off target here, folks... There isn't even a gun in that last girlie picture. I'm not judging, I'm just sayin'. Now excuse me while I try to walk straight... to the bathroom.

Looks like you may have a keeper. My wife shoots everything from her .40 S&W to my .50 AE...all the way up to the .50 BMG. As a matte of fact, she was shooting my Desert Eagle .50 AE just yesterday. The only down side to having a spouse that can shoot is you better never really piss her off.[;)][:)]
