Good camping food

I guess I've gotten a little used to being in the woods the way we do it at work. I'm going to go camping this weekend at a state park, at a camp ground, and get this IT even cost money to use the spot. So now here's the question, since this camping is going to be all civilized, what kind of food should I bring in the cooler? I'm thinking steak, and some potatoes to throw in the fire and bake, but what else am I missing.

To me it does not really matter, anything cooked over a fire tastes great....well almost everything [;)]
Cut up potatoes, carrots and onions in a foil pack or aluminum pan, add a little water, teryaki sauce, lots of butter and an obscene amount of seasoned salt and garlic. Seal well. Cook over fire for about 45 min. with the last 5 min. lowered into the fire to burn the potatoes on the bottom. You can add chicken breasts or drumsticks(skinned) on top. Coat the chicken with seasoned salt and it steams nicely. We practically fight over the burnt stuff on the bottom.
What you cook also depends on how you are cooking. Despite what you see in the movies, its hard to cook a decent meal over an open fire, even if you have a grill or a dutch oven. I take my double burner coleman stove(converted to gas) when I'm driving to the campsite or my small single burner backpack stove if I have to hike in.
...and of course breakfast "stuff"...mmm, bacon and eggs in the morning air...[:p]
.....Need I say........Ramen noodles ?
.....Don, I like the eggs in a bag idea. We usually bake and freeze a breakfast casserole like that, but cooked, frozen, reheated eggs can get kinda watery sometimes.
.....If you're driving and not hiking, bring along your favorite pie. Late night snack, alternate breakfast, munchies, mmmmm, pie, good.
Add salt to white corn meal to taste (a 1 tsp. per cup ratio will usually get you in the neighborhood). Mix equal amounts of this meal with BOILING HOT water, then form it into thin patties and brown 'em in hot grease that just covers them. The boiling water actually cooks the corn meal, the frying just makes the outside a little crispy.
This is genuine po' folks country fare, known in these parts as hot water corn bread. [:p]
nothing like bad meat to spoil a weekend, no food and contaminated everything else
Nobody mentioned chili yet. And hot dogs mmmm.

Get the hobo pie makers. Anything you can dream of between 2 slices of toasted bread..... Spaghetti, meat and cheese, pie filling, Eggs, bring all your leftovers from home..MMMM [:p] Get the Hobo pie makers with the non stick surface.
Pizza sauce with fixens. I have one of the electric sandwich makers now, but we used to make the hobo pies as kids when we camping. The whole meal would be pies. Pizza, cheese and then dessert of apple or cherry.
