He evidently is or he would not be paid it. They are paid it because fans pay the price to see them. Baseball, football and all other sports are a business that is driven by money. If people would step back and not pay the high dollars to "see" these actors perform, they would not be worth it. Don

I don't think he's worth one million for 18 seasons...but if the fans fill the stands to see him pitch, why not...same as an actor getting 20 million for one movie
