Fiocchi Ammo?

How do you like this ammo? I just shot up a few boxes of 9mm and it was hot and accurate. Cycled through my pistol perfectly. They had seller & bellot for the same price but I know nothing about that brand so I passed.

Fiocchi is made in Italy, I understand. Who produces the Seller & Bellot brand? Can it be reloaded?

I bought several cases of Fiocchi 45 ammo awhile back when I found it on sale for 9 cents a round,It has been great for me, wish I would have bought more than I did,the only seller & bellot I have used is shotgun rounds but have never had a problem with them

I shot a bit of it a few years ago and it was fine. I just got a few cases and havent shot much of it yet, but so far so good. Even better the price is right.

I've used Fiocchi for a long time. They were the only ones making 7.63 Mauser ammo and number 5 birdshot (that I could find).
They anneal the brass well and it's boxer. What more could you ask for?

Only caliber I've used from them was..

9mm rimfire shotshells for a neat little bolt action smoothbore shotgun.

Always worked - no troubles whatsoever.

Fiocchi is usually the cheapest ammo around here so i buy it to shoot in my .357. seems okay to me.

I have used lots of Fiocchi and S&B in my 9mm and 45. Never had a problem with either of them. Had some Fiocchi 3-inch 410 shells that were heck on squirrel's. Both work great for me.

fiocchi is the rage on the skeet ranges today, because of the cost at less than 4.00 a box for 12ga. whenever shells get below 4.00, it doesnt pay to pick up hulls and store them for a cold winter reloading day. so it sells fairly well. pros would disagree on reloading but the point is cost and hassle when shooting vs. the bother. with fiocchi, most arent reloadable anyway.
with that said, i never had so many hull seperations in 20 and 28ga than with fiocchi and using them at the world shoot, people laugh at you. i wouldnt bet the buick on it. no way.

I bought a box of 9mm at the pistol range. I had a round not quite burn completely I guess you would say. The lead lodged in my barrel about half way down. Yet the spent casing did eject and It blew back the bolt. There was some unburnt powder on my hand and gun. It was the last shot in the magazine so the action remained open. I'll never buy it again.

"sav99" was that shot out of a Glock? Coated bullet or lead?

I have been using mine in a Glock 17 and a Glock 35. No problems so far. I did just get a letter stating that there were several underloaded lots that got released. I am sure they have which lots it is on their web site. None of the lots I got were in that range.

I certainly like the small size boxes the 9MM comes in, takes up very little room.

Quick hi-jack... as a few people have mentioned the Seller & Bellot, I picked up several boxes of their 12 ga. 00 buck 2 3/4" a few years ago and I'll be darned if they don't recoil and feel like 3" magnums!
Are they loading them with a little more umph?

Fired a few boxes of Fiocci 9mms. . .worked 100%.

Didn't notice any accuracy (or other) issues.

As to where the stuff is made, the components are loaded in Missouri, and they are imported from Italy (where ammo is also made).

I like both Fiocchi and S&B. Given the same price, I'd take Fiocchi. The brass seems stronger, and they are generally loaded hot. Both make some hard-to-find calibers.

    The correct spelling would be:

Ive used the shotshells...they seem to work fine but the bases tend to rust quickly especially around salt water. As I am ever worried about jambing, I quit buying them even though I didn't have that problem....with my trusty Beretta[:D]
