Im sure we can all agree news teams try to make as much to do about a story as possible...all the reporters go out to work on a project then the pieces are reviewed for "newsworthyness" Its a competition to get thier stories on air so..They may exaggerate a little to "sell the sizzle"
rivers are rising around western washington as our record snowfall in the mountains melts off quickly in the warm sunshine. As I was driving past the river I noticed a news crew in the boat launch parking lot...I thought maybe a body had been found or something
so i pull down there to snoop and be nosy...turns out they were doing a remote shot of the river. I was amazed at the twister game the vidiographer was playing as he tried to adjust his camera angle to make the river seem higher than it was...shooting between the legs of a picnic table to see the tops of the rapids and make them look like they were about to breach the dike...it was funny
I told the female reporter...no news is good news and left....I should have asked if she could bake a PIE
