the best I ever heard was, stab with an icicle...not practical in summer
Any unsolved cases would be fun...if allowed

I guess I'm not good at this... but I've never really spent my days thinking of ways of killing someone and getting away with it.

My guess would be to be in camoflauge in the woods with a sniper rifle. You shoot, get up, walk away, and go home.

Supposedly freezing is very difficult to detect. There was a story about a woman whose husband used to get sloppy drunk, beat her, then pass out. After one of his drinking/pass out binges she dragged him into some sort of refrigerated truck he drove. After he died she brought him back into the house, let him thaw, then called 911

I always use the tried and true 'unregistered paper clips and rubber
band method' - it takes longer than most methods but it's never
    failed me yet!

    ... always use surgical gloves.[:D]

Patience is the best method, old age will eventually take down your victim in a undetectable manner.

Sometimes its easier to contemplate murdering a human than killing an animal Humans have been trying to do it without geting caught since sain slew abel but now, with modern forensic science, it takes more than an alibi to escape justice

Kill from a distance, have a fast, reliable escape route, leave NO trace of your presence (including witnesses), destroy weapon (unregistered), unused ammo (procurred in an untraceable manner), clothing you were wearing, etc. There is NO perfect crime, much less murder, but if you pay attention to the most minute details, plan well and execute that plan,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,[}:)]

    quote:There is NO perfect crime

    best answer yet

but hogs do eat everything, and burning on a large bon-fire then picking out the teeth and smashing them with a sledge hammer would work too

there was a mob killer named "the ice man" because he would freeze his victims, then thaw them out at a latter period, suspicions arose and he eventually got caught because during an autopsy the organs inside one where not fully thawed, it linked a meat processing plant belonging to a opposing crime family, he also used the method of cyanide, by rubbing it on someones hand it will kill, he once killed a guy by walking by him and squirted a few drops in his drink, another he squirted it on his pant leg

As 1911A1 sort of alluded to, there are any number of drugs, both 'script and other that can be used, in combination with a large variety of means of delivery that are reliable/fatal easy to obtain and CAN BE difficult to detect. [:)]

if it were killing for the sake of killing, someone you dont know, with no ties to what so ever. long distance, take everything with you. not like the d.c. snipers who had to keep going and going. if they had shot one then they would probably be free today.

also cant remember if it was a book or a movie, but this woman kills her husband makes it look like a robbery. she bludgened him to death with a frozen beef roast and then put it in to cook, all they found out was that he was bludgened and couldnt find the murder weapon that would fit the blows. she served the roast to the investigating cops!

Freezing is a lousy way to kill. It will rupture cells and thaw out as a jell. Icecycle is a poor weapon same reason. stabing does not kill as quick as tv shows. Cynide will not kill as mentioned. Arsonic takes a long time to kill, unless used in massive doses. To kill and get away with it, choose a victom you have nothing to do with, and as far away from home as possible. Have no probable cause, and have a far away aliby that is iron clad.

First you knock them unconsious by some means... While they're out, gag them and take them into the woods to a pre-determined location, preferably near an anthill. Tie them up so that if they move, a sharpened log will swing down and stab them in the chest. Leave a typed note plainly visible telling what will happen if they move, but don't tell them about the anthill...they'll figure it out soon enough. Leave the scene before they come to. If they move, and the log kills them, then the ants will dispose of the body. If they don't move, the ants will kill them and STILL dispose of the body. No harm, no foul, and no link to you.

By the way, make sure you do it in a state that you don't live in.

Use a car. Just look at how few folks do jail time or even end up with any sort of record for killing someone with their car...even when drunk! Heck, I had a cop tell me it was virtually impossible to prosecute for vehicular murder unless it was threatened beforehand (and the threat witnessed) or the perp hit the victim multiple times.

Noah (tongue firmly in cheek) Mercy [:D]

the perfect crime is to be BLACK...kill two white people, in los angeles, leave your own DNA everywhere, your foot prints at the crime scene, your victims DNA at your house, have no alibi, get a black jury, a black and jewish defense team, and have them lie their * off. the result.....12-0 NOT GUILTY .....perfect crime

Powerfull rifle with good scope - supressor - talent for shooting.
Keep a distance to your target and with the supressor, allthough it won't silence the shot - it will still keep the noise down.

    Even a .30-06 can be supressed to that of a .22LR un-supressed.

figuring out the mechanics to killing doesnt really prevent you from getting caught, but it might help keep you from getting convicted.

The way they catch you is because you have to want to murder some one for some reason. Police look for those with a motive. having a motive usually means you have to know the person. Police know that most people are murdered by those they know, the closer the person is to the victim the more likely that they murdered the victim.

So, if you murder someone you know or dont like, the police are going to be on to you pretty quick, no matter what steps you take to hide your methods. Then again, the police minght Know you did it, but they have to prove it. This is a good reason to never confess, no matter what the police tell you they know.

It isn't so much the how "to kill" as "dispose of the body."

And I'm not telling, for the protection of the board, as that would make you all accomplice.[;)]

I don't know what it's called but when I worked in a slaughterhouse we had a drum of powder to use when a cow's leg or something was down the drain and plugging it up.

One cup of that powder with water would dissolve bone and meat rather quickly.

Every day drugs like nicotene can cause death if it was refined from it's source and a ample amount was collected for use. Even too much acetyminophine can be detrimental to your health.

Lock your victim in a room alone, and start a monologue on the party line of your particular political party, going out over speakers he can't disable. Then, go on vacation in Jamaica.

Accident or at least one that resemble it. For say an avid hiker/camper follow them and make it look like they got lost or had an "accident". With nature abound it's a big crime scene to process especially if it took a few days before they found the person. With a runner can't go wrong with hit and run in some isolated stretch. Like most movies and real life crime books will tell you to get to know your subject. Habits, routines, and day to day.

Ice Man had a wicked sense of humor. I recall there was a guy who was about to get whacked was pleading to god and Ice man said something along the line of "if god comes and helps you I'll let you go".

Now I recall a truck driver with a freezer compartment using that and dumping his vics miles away. He got caught when the vic was found early and didn't have the time to defrost all the way.

The zip gun idea reminds me of that one fellow who used a barreless .44 (or was that a .357?). Unlike the zip you can have a few extra in case you miss. I think if you use soft lead it won't do damage to the threads so you can put the barrel back?

The "leg of lamb" is a good one since you can tenderize the leg first[:D].

And finally poor police and "brisk" investigation is also helpful.

Smooth bore black powder revolver. Plenty of shots to get the job done, no ballistics, cheep gun, throw in the ocean when done, not traceable.

Just do it in a remote area so no one hears the shots!

so 2nd amendment rights are more important than my 1st amendment rights? the post follows all forum rules and seems to have some interest and interesting dialog so why poof it? I mean, if I asked what is the best way to shoot someone...or what gun crime can I commit I could see where you might have a concern. the fact that some members choose to use a firearm in their Fantasy, perfect murder scenerio should have no bering or credence.
so...youre crazy...hey he said I could call him that

Being well informed is good be it "out there subject" like this topic[:D] besides most of what's typed here's already been tagged and documented. You see more wacky senarios on Law and Order, CSI (where ever) where they break down and show them how not to get caught. Like you (Adironduck) never thought about offing someone at some point? I'd never do it 'cos the consequenses is too much besides I don't think I'll like "prison Love". Never been there and plan not to[:D].

But I suppose all information has the "potential" to be used wrongly. That's why the nice men in suits listen to conversations and monitor people. Then keep the people in the dark to protect themselves from ourselves[:D]. Tide's a changing and I'll say the US being young as it is had a decent run, far as Empires go. Central core government is a mess, invasion from all borders (and government yielding to their will), military out doing what they're told to stablize a situation which can not be contained.

Well as it seems I took yet another off kilter rant and I'll wait for the men in suits to re-educate me in to "PC" pro-government puppet. Oh one last thing this area's refered to as "General Discussion" if I read it correctly. Like most things in life if you don't like what you see, hear, taste, feel or smell. Pretend it's not there, walk away, ignore it, hold your nose and etc[:D].
