Pictures of " The Boys" (elk pics)

I have exchanged emails with several GB members about elk hunting and I have been asked to post my "credentials". These are all typical Colorado 5 pointers, nothing special. I have seen only two BIG bulls while hunting and both times I had a cow tag.[:(!]

    Man, those pics represent a lot of real good freezer meat.

    MN, nice shooting, bet he didn't go far. I like your bullett choice, I'm switching over to the Barnes X but the Partition has worked well for me. I live in Montrose, sw part of the state.

    Colonel, yup mix in 6 cows and elk has become a major part of the families diet.

    Here is are two of the 2005 bull in the field. The painful look on my face is because I just realized how far I am away from the truck.

    Okay, then. Note to self. Since this will be my first elk hunt, do NOT get any farther from the truck than you are willing to carry a quarter elk.

    No horns, no balls, I guess you could use a cow tag.
