i am going to go shooting with guns-n-paintedhorses this weekend and i decided to take my 1919. so i was linking a bunch of ammo so far i had about 250 rounds linked up then i realized i was us m60 links instead of 1919 link. dumb *. so now i get to delink all of them and start over.

Well if his M60 was in .30-06 (not made), or if his 1919 is in .308 (made) then that might work.

well i got them all delinked and now time to start linking with the correct links and correct ammo. 7.62x51. if the corn field was harvested i would think about linking up some tracers for the evening, but as off the other day it wasn't done yet.

Have you used the cloth belts for your 1919? Hard to mix those up.

M-60 links will not work in a 7.62 1919. You have to use izzy (Isreali) links for best reliability. The 30-06 and 7.62 guns use different, but very similar, links. The M-60 links are completely different. They are lots of fun to shoot.

i do have a couple belts. one i got with the gun it is only about a hundred round belt that is easy to load by hand and i also have about a 250 round belt that i had loaded about 6 years ago with a belt loader that was a pain in the * because it was a new belt and so stiff. hopefully it will loosen up a little bit after this weekend
