What a hoot!

It was pretty much as I suspected, but either I had more friends in school than I remember, or time has mellowed peoples' attitudes. Ends up Mike and I had a great time. Rekindled a few old friendships, made a few business connections...

Best part was when one of the biggest snobs in the class, one who made my life hell for 4 years, came up to Mike and said, "Do I know you?"
Mike's response was perfect, "You mean you don't remember the night of heated passion in the back of my Camaro?"
Her face went crimson. Everyone laughed.

25th? Why, you're just a pup. The had our 35 this year. I didn't go to that one, either. Bunch of grey haired old men, and fat old women.[:(]

Another good one is to take a large paper bag to the reunion, have the snobiest girl in the class, stick her arm into the bag, close it around her wrist, then tell her to do it. when she looks at you with a big HUH???, tell her, I always new if I got you in the sack, you wouldn't have a clue what to do!!!

    really pisses em off!!![:D]

I went to my 40th Class Reunion last year. I guess when you get to that stage you just go to see who is still alive.

My wife made me go to my 20th. I figured I still see most of the people I was friends with then and the rest I didn't want to see anyway, had a blast looking forward to the 25th next year.

Thought about going to my 50th last year. Didn't go because all I wanted to do was kiss a couple of girls I should have and punch-out a couple of guys I should have 50 years ago. Surprising how many classmates were already DEAD![xx(]

    my 30th is in aug
went to one (think it was the 10th) and it was still the cliqueish bunch i remembered
now i am getting e-mails from several with the "hope you can make it" crap and i have to wonder "WHY?"
still un-decided on it, kinda curious but doubt it is worth $35 to find out

My 35 is next year, but this year will be a combined 35 with 72,73,74 attending. Since we all knew each other.

But went to the memorial page a few there I knew. One gal knew since Kindergarden just freind but for some reason this one affected me.

Not sure if I'm going so far only one person I knew says they are going. And he I lost track of my Junior year. Then I dropped out my Senior year to join the Marines.

That's always the worst part of a reunion - best to toast them and their memories and
shuffle on along ... until the it's your turn to be toasted (hopefully, by the next to the
last guy standing - otherwise you won't get a toast)!

Sorry about the rant / hi-jack. I do feel better though. [^]

Not at all, dano, hope you feel better.

BIG difference between 10th reunion and this one. At my 10th, kids were still in their 20's, many having matured little since high school, the ones who thought they were God's great gift to humanity still acted like they thought they were just that. Very cliquey, very catty. This time, very few were still like that. Most of them, I guess finally got a huge slap upside the head from mean, old Mr. Reality some time in their 30's.

I was pleased. I finally got my moment of karma, courtesy of Mr. Mike. It was worth waiting 25 years for.[:D][;)]

Coming up on my 20th and my lame class still hasn't had a reunion. As far as I know, no one is planning one. If I lived closer to my hometown, I'd help plan one. It is a shame we haven't had one.[V]
