On May 17TH, as promised, the new Harper government did away with long gun registration. See link below for more info.

A small step but a big one in proportion to over turning one of the most restrictive gun control program imposed on a free and peace loving people.

The political opposition in Canada said Harper is just another George Bush. They are so very wrong, this guy keeps his promises and is not afraid of the consequences. [:D]

Canada is now attempting to amend their constitution to include protection of human and property rights. A little late to do it now. They need a 2/3 vote to get-r-done. Canada is a prime exapmle of the actions that a liberal, socialist government will take if legal roadblocks are not set up to prevent it.

They are disbaning the department of gun registration and folding it into the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. They have backed off on the registration of long guns, but have keep in place all the other restrictive laws. Its a start!

They too, seen what has happened with our natural disasters; Perhaps they see that a good honest armed populace is the only way to maintain...

Or perhaps it is a release before the clasp..
