    SWEET!
You camping out or staying in Taos?
Last Depredation hunt I drew was South of Carrizozo 8 years ago; kept running across this Texan who was filming herds running across the road & just had to show us the tape.
Good luck and shoot a tasty one!

Last one I drew was Oryx, east of Las Cruces, and one tough hunt. Mesquite growing stabilized the soil, and in between clumps the soil blows out. So you have mesquite growing on columns of soil 6-9 feet high. The Oryx step behind one and they are gone.

I was offered a shot at running oryx at 150 yards, but that did not seem like a good idea, so I declined.

Good Luck Kumate, I hope yours really is a fish in a barrel hunt![8D]
