    Quite a guy. I saw him on the Tonight Show and bought his book. I don't read much, except technical books, but his book was great.

    tackle for the Baltimore Colts in the hey day of Johnny Unitas...the real Johnny Football, when most players played both sides of the ball. a grunt, lineman, and funny man.

    Artie was one hell of a guy. To call him "local color" would be an understatement. Long after his retirement we'd run into him regularly while working OT at football games. He'd always go out of his way stop and bs for a few minutes. You'd hear him before seeing him coming down the exit ramps. In his unique voice he'd bellow "Hey Sarge, what the f*** is going on..." (along with a string of other things the auto censor won't allow). Then he'd stop and pass the time of day. Great, great guy.
