What is the best means of travel from Boston to New York City? I am flying to Boston this afternoon and have all day tomorrow to kill before I have meetings on Thursday. Myself and one of my mangers want to go visit Ground Zero. We are both westerns and haven't travel the east much. I have heard train but wanted some input. How long does it take on a train? Thank you for the help.

My son was a student in Boston and then worked there. In the 7 years he was there he went to NYC a number of times. Mostly by train. I don't think it's all that bad of trip.
Be sure to spend some time in Boston.
North End for Italian food.
Beacon Hill.
Boston Harbor, USS Constitution!

Be sure to have a couple Lobster Rolls!! Lukes Lobster is amazing!
Union Oyster House is always worth the stop!
Abe and Louies on Boylston Street(Back Bay area) is my all time favorite restaurant! It's also right where the bombs went off at the Marathon in 2013.
Prudential center at the top is a neat spot with a great view.
The Comedy Studio in Cambridge is a must. Inexpensive up and coming comics on the third floor of a Chinese Restaurant!! Great spot!
You can walk or cab about anywhere in Boston.......
Of course Fenway Park is pretty cool!
so much to see and do! Enjoy!
Oh yeah, I would suggest a Duck ride to see some sights too.
And EVERYTHING is EXPENSIVE in Boston!$$$$$$$$$$$
