I have an old co-worker friend who put a 1/8+ mile flat track on his property just to race Mini bikes once a year with about 60 or so riders.

Talk about fun! There are 3 classes. Stock, Mod, and Super mod that run in real race heats.

Only rule they must be Honda Z50's or Solid wheele mini's. The super Mods can hit up to 65+ with nitrous or dual carb setups on the strait.
it's to much fun and harder than one would think.

We do draw the crowd, My buddy that puts it on is and old racer, and also has a bunch of buddys that race bikes for a living that come out for the fun. A few of them were trying to get ESPN and the speed channel to come out to do a live show. But being in a neighbor hood and the attention that it was going to draw was just to much.

If you have the land to do it, Its a fun event to put on.

We run EXTREME brand 125's punched out to 135 (these are based on the old Honda CT90 engine) on an indoor Kart track.
It has gotten out of hand as of late. Tire warmers, racing slicks, radical cams and flow work. Not to mention "Blower in a Bottle" -Nitrous!

It is a great way to get your grins without getting hurt.

There is going to be a SuperMoto at the Palace of Auburn Hills this July and the mini's are running support.

    Should be a GAS!
