There are a lot of posts about saddam's death. Personally i do not give a rats batoote. He was a middle eastern figure head and the blood will be put on our hands. Why is this flooding our minds? Should it matter? Was the goal to remove him or kill him? He got an easy ticket out. Hey thats just my opinion and i do not see how it changes much.

    Anyone ever seen the movie "SWAT"? I had a feeling something similar would happen on his way back to the mideast. There are so many Hussein followers over there. I'm sure he'd make them his right hand man if they broke him out. They should have put a bullet in his head the moment the verdict was delivered.

    I am glad he's toast but I am concerned about all of the blood-lust expressed by some members in wishing to view the execution. Reminds me of late-period Rome, and we all know that their great civilization fell shortly after the citizens became complacent blood-thirsty degenerates.

    Careful KSU,I made a couple post about the bloodlust and being giddy over the execution,I also made some comments about unchristian post being made by different people who claim to hold the higher moral ground and I have been getting ugly email all evening...

    IMO, let's not nuture any pangs of conscience or regrets for the bloodlust and thirst for justice of a people he ruthlessly and deliberately tortured, maimed, violated and murdered during his 30+ year reign of brutality and terror. The execution of Saddam Hussein belongs to the Iraqi people, not us. I say don't deny them this closure.
