I dont know how anyone can like that show its so unbelievably boring to me. I still have yet to watch an episode where I didnt fall asleep within the first 5 minutes.
Well cyclonus... you made it 5 minutes farther than I did.
LOL I hope were both talking about the same show. I was refering to the first series.

What I never understood is how could anyone get that much into something that is so incredibly boring. I personally think Trekkie fans not only have no lives but must not have any personality either to like something that unbelievably boring.

Well I had a very vivid imagination when I was a kid. I really couldn't wait for the next episode.
What is funny is a guy I know has all of the original episodes on a CD and he tried to play it one day and I couldn't believe how my imagination had gone flat.

Your parents didn't encourage a whole lot of imaginative and/or original thoughts, did they?

I vote for stay IN the house...
and they other spinoffs suck so bad, they're not spinoffs, they're "cling-ons"
I think the only thing more ridiculous than the first series, was the second series. Just my .02 cents !

also just a pondering - but I'd guess that those that do not like Star Trek/Sci Fi and/or think it is boring probably fall asleep within 5 minutes of hitting the pillow.
Here's another cool ship, but it's not an Enterprise. Probably the most utilitarian, purpose-built ship the Star Trek development team ever came up with.
However, this one is a close second. Definately deserving of the name Enterprise:
Is it just me or do they all have basically the same sculpt with different details.

Is it just me, or do all cars and all trucks have basically the same sculpt with different details? If you have a basic layout that works, you really shouldn't change it. You should just change the design, details, and stuff you put in it.

Mateo, I can't remember if you're a Trek fan or not, but I'm assuming that you're not. Forgive me if I'm wrong.
The Defiant-Class was designed to fight the Borg. Small, fast, agile, and just as powerful as one of the big capital ships like the Enterprise has been since the 1701-B (refit Excelsior-Class). They didn't put in any creature comforts. Everything was included for a reason.

Call me later, Don.

This is the best Enterprise to ever be in a Star Trek Flick

Except the real USS Enterprise CVN-65 wasn't in Star Trek IV. The Enterprise was somewhere in the middle of the Atlantic during filming.

At least they were all present at time of filming. Even with all of the modern visual effects that they do using computers, they still use miniatures on occasion.
Doug
The most versatile class of ship id the Miranda class. Off the top of my I can come up with four different variants of the base Miranda class cruiser, plus the Soyuz Class patrol ship.
Ask and ye shall receive.
My tax dollars helped build this'n
Enterprise G
USS Enterprise
The US Navy should be adapting it's design for submarines.....imagine if a submarine could split apart and be 4 submarines in battle....join together for cruising.
Multi-Vector Assault Mode:
I like these two...
Enterprise G
USS Enterprise
You can't have an Enterprise G. The E is still in service, and there's still the F that has to be accounted for. By that time, the Promethius-Class will be out-dated.
