Terrorist Attack in India

I've always thought a group of well-armed, well-trained, and highly-motivated indiviuals could do alot more damage than an IED or suicide bomber. I think the event in India is a sign of things to come. It may not happen here... yet, but I think we will hear more incidents of groups of terrorists attacking highly populated locations such as malls, churches, temples, sporting events, etc.[V]

IED's and suicide bombings will continue to occur simply because operations like this deplete the bad guys pool of 'well-trained' and 'highly-motivated' personnel at a much higher rate. It's an inefficient use of limited forces while it's fear factor is really no higher than that of one guy parking a car which later detonates and takes out ten or twenty.

As for doing more 'damage', success with terrorism is judged by more than just a body count.
