Has any body bought from them? I have had a craving for some mud bugs for the last few weeks.

Thanks for the insight! To be honest, I wasn't thinking they would import from china. Thanks for the link![^]

Now I wonder if the ones from china are live or frozen? I want mine "Live". I have had frozen before and for the most part, it tasted like crap.

Most of the stuff from China is not live, but frozen/processed. That looks like a good group over there. This year was a good year for live ones. Not too many "live" sources out the this time of year. good luck and happy eating....

Here is you something as well...

    http://hebertsmeats.com/

We went to this place, they are just below where that crawfish company is, they have four stores, one in OK, a couple in TX and one in Maurice, LA, they have stuffed chickens and stuffed most everything else! They are stuffed with shrimp stuffing, alligator stuffing, crawfish, most anything. We went to Maurice and bought a cooler full of frozen chickens and brought them home and had them for Christmas! Nice thing is I know their ingredients are fresh as well!

The ones from china are "parboiled" and then frozen, packaged and shipped or they are cooked, pealed and frozen.
Either way you'd probably get sick from eating them, I mean come on, food exports from china?
We thought their toys were killing our kids and some will eat their food?
    No thanks,

Hebert's is some really good stuff. When i flew out of Intracoastal City, i would stop in Maurice and buy a case of deboned chickens with crawfish or shrimp stuffing to take to our guys offshore. On the way home i would buy a case to take back to the office. I think they were $6 bucks each back then. then they opened a store in Houston....

Fido - i heard (and i do believe it) if you eat Chinese Crawfish they have a large cypress tree with a rope on it for the offender down in Breaux Bridge....
