I am a history buff and usually read memoirs/biography books on WWII. I recently have moved on to the Vietnam War. Any good suggestions as far as title or authors that you would recommend other than Marine Sniper. thanks

I suggest you read "Hell in a very small place; the siege of Dien Bien Phu" by Bernard B. Fall. That should be a warm up before reading anything after the US got involved on the ground.

"Where The Domino Fell" is a good one, although some liberal college professors recommend it also.

edit: "About Face" is pretty highly rated with Army officers.

'NAM, by Mark Baker. It's a compilation of stories told to him by veeterans. Very Good. He also wrote COPS, same premise. Both very good books. I felt like I could actually ly a helicopter after I read "ChickenHawk". I don't remember tha author, but he was very detailed.

Not Vietnam, but WWII. Have you read "Death is lighter than a feather"?
