Reloading some 32-20s I checked the cases after charging and found one row of 10 in the block had no powder. Hmmm... Sure enough, the next row over all the cases were double-charged. Ooops. Glad I caught that one.

That's the problem when the powder charge isn't big enough (or the case small enough) to prevent putting two in there. I get paranoid when case capacity allows two powder charges without overflowing.

Some "Police and Trooper Association" sent me a donation request and I actually had a check in the envelope when I decided to check it out. I found out that it is an arm of the AFL-CIO. What???

Then I noticed the small print saying donations were not tax deductible. Reason? This outfit is a 501C organization. In other words, a political action group!

These scumburgers are soliciting funds claiming to support widows and orphans of cops when in fact they are raising money for political campaigns.

Three guesses which party gets the money... and the first two don't count. This is fraud in my book.

I only donated money to a police org. one time and that was to buy bulletproof vest. I received a thank you letter from an officer and a picture of him wearing the vest. This was done through the LEO club at my sons school which is like a junior lions club. Money well spent. Our local PD really didnt have the money for the vest. I sent a check for three hundred dollars. The local newspaper came and took a picture of my son and the office shaking hands and him receiving the check. This was all my sons efforts to help his community. I think I raised a pretty good kid.
