That bike is dangerous in the legal sense of the word. It's a blip of the throttle from a license revoking moving violation.[:D] Tooling around tonight on it and of course some idiot car drivers wanted to race on the 4 lane roads so they would just ride along next to me. Enough was enough, kicked her down a gear or to and went WOT. Triple digit speeds in the blink of an eye. Going fast shouldn't be that easy. God I love it.

Had a 300SX try that with my old Katana. He was just showing off for his girlfriend. Left from a light he was in front of me, Went around him like he was not even moving.

Really miss that bike.

HD gets up and moves but not anywhere close to the Kat.

I too know the allure of the TL. Fortunately the long arm of the law never reached out to enbrace me, but I still regret letting her go to this day.

used to go to the races on the hwy outside of town, they'd also have motorcycle races and sometimes car vs. motorcycle. those guys on bikes would take off peeling out so bad the tire would slip one way, look like they're going to dump it, then flip over the other way, and do it again a few more times before they got it straightened out. those guys were nutzo crazy but they sure had some skill. apparently that worked better than doing a wheelie cuz that limits speed. most of the guys had KZ1000's or similar.

the bikes always beat the cars.

the one I'll never forget, I was standing there on the cuizing strip, three dudes were riding down the street in staggered formation, this nerd who didn't really know how to ride a motorcycle thought he'd show off and speed right through the middle of them coming up from behind. guess what... he didn't fit. I saw all four of them skidding down the street right in front of me, arms legs bike parts and sparks all over.

it was funny cuz about two weeks later, the three dudes came through my parking lot with arms & legs in casts, bandages on their head, crutches and all that asking "where is that dude?!?!"
