Looks like what is commonly sold in Jerusalem as the "widow's mite." Don't know if it's actually authentic or just a tourist curiosity but I seem to recall picking up a couple of them myself on a visit some years ago.

Well, the truth of the matter is that it was sold to me as ancient Japanese, but I can't find a listing of it anywhere. I'll have to look up "widow's mite" as I have no clue what that is either.
