Seattle keeps trying to infringe on gun owners and keeps getting whacked because they violate WA law with regards to guns. It's a feel good do nothing tax. People can just drive 10 minutes away and avoid the tax. Not many decent gun shops IN Seattle that I remember anyways. The good ones are south of Seattle.

Seattle city council makeup is 100% socialist party. Not surprised at all.

If it's only in Seattle then they'll just miss out on that cash.

Seattle keeps trying to "one-up" San Francisco; basically because when property in Seattle was cheap relative to San Fran, a bunch of them sold their crackerboxes in SF and bought estates in Seattle- Now they think the run the show in Seattle. And given the lapdog approach of the local media, one would think they do.

What a bunch of nonsense comparing the PR program to a tax to preserve people. He must have overdosed on his LSD last night.

Liberals propose this idea once in a while. Comes up in CA regularly. The brain dean morons (liberals) CLAIM it's to cover the cost of gun violence, but as my high school history teacher (Mr. Hewlett) used to say, "The power to tax is the power to destroy." Who owns guns or shoots when they make the tax $10,000 per gun and $100 per round of ammo?
