While this is obviously spam / phishing, the fact is Russian women were the best kept secret of the Cold War. Granted, there many who look like Nina Kruscheva . . . as they were portrayed in our propaganda, but then there are plenty of American women who aren't as slender as Rosie O'Donald. The reality is that there are millions of very beautiful, smart, tall, slender women in Russia, such as the gal who was Miss World or Miss Universe a few years back - or my wife.

The usual scam is they will write for months almost becoming a long distance internet girlfriend until one day they will tell you of financial trouble and that they don't know what they are going to do.
The other ones are seeking a lonely man to marry them and bring them to America "permanantly".

No, I don't know this first hand! I've read articles and seen shows like 20/20 on this subject.
