My niece in Hawaii rescued probably the biggest pitbull (not sure if he's mixed with something else) I have ever seen.Maybe a Dogo.
They look like a really big white Pit Bull, but it's actually an Argentinian breed.

Like I said, not sure of the mix (if any), he was rescued from (IIRC) a guy that breed them for pig hunts.
Anyways, he's not as tall (at least not that I can remember) as the Dogo in the pix and is brindle is color.

Still wouldn't trust him with kids or small women/men. Reminds me of Mike Tyson. You just don't know when the other shoe will drop.
Then you don't know the breed. They were once known as "Nanny Dogs" because people trusted them to keep watch on their children.
This dog was raised to "fight" and not baby sit. I wasn't gernalizing the whole breed (learn to comprehend what you just read before trying to slam).
You mentioned "once known as "Nanny Dogs" [:D]" not no mo'. All them back yard breeders made something differnt.
More ignorance gleaned from propaganda.
Even thought I know that experience never trumps what people believe...and even though I know this won't change your mind, I'll post something that I've posted a few times before.
Involved in rescue for over 30 years. Heavy for the last 20, and up to my neck in it for the last 12 give or take...I've crawled under trailers and vehicles and into culverts and drains to bring out frightened and injured dogs. I've got bite scars on both arms from wrists to elbows from being bitten...a few times pretty badly. I've yet to be bitten by a Pitbull...even the ones that bore the scars of a fighting or serving as a bait dog. Not once.
I currently have two rescued, fight-bred Pits in the house...living in harmony with other dogs of varied breeds and sizes with zero problems. The female's former romp'n'play buddy was a Yorkshire Terrier that I placed in a new home. Now, she goes to the male Pit and a Sheltie for playtime. When the Chihuahua snaps at them, they turn and walk away without reaction. I can literally reach into their mouths and take food away from them, and have demonstrated it on a few occasions for visitors who are nervous with their presence.
I've found this to be pretty consistent Pitbull behavior once they've come to understand that the old life is history, and the abuse has ended. Given a gentle hand, and the chance to prove themselves, they provide loyalty and boundless affection, with a helping of charming entertainment several times a day.
Doxys, JRTs and ACDs are bred to be fearless and to ignore size differentials.
As I tell folks all the time regarding my two JRTs, they're a 15lb dog which thinks it's a 115lb dog. No fear. It's in their DNA.
I've met some really sweet Pits. Sadly, every piece of ghetto trash wishing to enlarge their peenie and get "dem some street cred, yo" has to have some snarling, barely controlled and untrained Pit. They, and their backyard goon "breeders" have ruined the breed. The shelters in the Phx are are almost 60% Pit or Pit mix.

Even those can be salvaged with a little patience and a gentle hand.
This one was in a sorry state when I took her in. She wanted a piece of every dog that even looked at her. Within 3 months, this is what she really wanted to do.
JonT thinks pit bulls are incapable or harm and do not have the tools to kill. He is the real danger. Not the dogs.[xx(][V]
Some will die in hot pursuit
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
