I have a dehydrator and a jerky shooter, a huge thing of ground beef means a huge stash of jerky sticks. Of course you could try a big order of taco's, nacho's or burrito's.

Chili should be made with chuck cubed into 3/4 inch pieces. No beans. (and served over rice... None of that Cincinnati stuff with chocolate and noodles.) Skyline is an interesting dish, but it is NOT Chili, it is Skyline or Wolf or whatever.

Make hamburgers or try a beef version of shepherds pie. Think meatloaf and mashers in one dish....

Cant get much simpler than Salt Crust baking.

Cover the bottom of a baking pan with Canning Salt (1" will do). Lay whatever meat or fish you like on the bed of salt. Cover the meat or fish in a layer of salt (1" or more) on all sides and top. Bake..

The salt will form a brown crust on the outside and bake hard enough to crack and peel off like an egg shell.

And no it does not over power the meat or fish with salt flavoring.

Brown it and add taco seasoning.
From there you've got tacos (of course) and burritos. If'n ya want'ta get fancy fry a 12" tortia in'a 10" pan and make a Monterey or ya can mix it in melted Velveeta with salsa and snack on nachos.

Tator-Tot hot dish, 2 lbs of burger, 2 cans of cream/mushroom soup,

a 1 lb bag of frozen mixed veggies......cook the burger first, mix it

all up, spread it out in a baking dish and put tator tots on top.

Shula's is OK, The lighted par 3 course is a * though. If you are not on the green the ball is lost. There used to be a place near there called Porcao that was a churrascaria (Brazilian Steakhouse) but judging from their web site they have gone hipster.... [xx(]

Make'em into patties and cook them and then put them in the freezer. Then all you have to do is heat them up later if you want a hamburger or two.

Here's the old standby in our family. We simply call it "Country Food" as my wife and I both grew up on ranches in New Mexico
Pound of ground beef browned in large skillet and pushed to sides of skillet.
In middle of skillet, 1 chopped onion, 1 chopped green bell pepper, 3-4 stalks of chopped celery, and a clove or 2 of garlic. Saut? these until crisp tender, then mix with the browned ground beef.
Add 2 cans black eyed peas, 1 large can diced tomatoes, and tablespoon of tabasco sauce.
Let simmer for a bit and serve with cornbread.
Will set you free!! (in more ways than one, ha)

Here you go Kasey. Beef stroganoff. Take one pound of ground beef.cook until brown. Add half a container of light sour cream, one can of cream of mushroom soup and a dash of Worcestershire sauce. heat on low, covered for about ten minutes, stirring occasionally. Put over spaghetti or noodles. Takes about 20 minutes to prepare. Yeah baby, I can cook[;)] Grandparents owned a restaurant for 30 years.[;)][:p]

    I just remembered another.

    TACO SALAD.
Lettuce, tomato, chopped onion, shredded cheese of your choice and, of course, taco seasoned meat. Last, but not least, crumbled natcho cheese Doritos. Don't add the Doritos 'til just before serving. If leftovers go into the fridge the chips get soggy/mushy.
