I have a gun I bought here on GunBroker shipped to my FFL here in KY Priority Mail 2-Day, last scan was on the 18th at OAK CREEK, WI has not been scanned since. Should I be getting worried?

Scan caught up this morning at 6:00 AM was delivered to my FFL today, my Smith & Wesson model 929 is in the safe.

No, many times I get the package before the tracking catches up.

Re-reading your posting, you probably have nothing to worry about. While meeting with the postal inspector I made the same complain t that the USPS doesn't update their tracking in a timely manner and sited instances when no tracking updates took place until the package was already out for delivery to my FFL.

Nothing unusual about tracking data catching up late. Especially when it's moving over a weekend.

I've felt that way myself a time or two, but on my last transaction I knew when it went out for delivery so it worked great for me in that respect. That said, the driver knew he was delivering to a business that was not open as yet, and he purposely failed to deliver the package when the business was open after he had finished his route. What's bad about this is that the business is within a block or two of the PO. The owner of the business said that he has to put up with this behavior every time he deals with USPS. Now that's really poor customer service.

Don't get worried, go to where the package is to be delivered, or call them and ask what time the USPS nrmally delivers their mail each day. They should have the required delivery notice or your shipment before the end of the day.

Had a guy in Canada buy something from me on that other web site. He emailed me about 10 days after I shipped it. The email said it was still in MKE. He emailed me later that day and told me he received it. The USPS tracking system is totally useless.

The Post office has a bit more info than we do on a package I had one stall out for several days , due to being pulled for some reason they say the label but it was a printed label ?
any way the local post master checked on it . package was already back in the shipping loop just not showing on the public site .
She ( the post master ) has helped me in the past with "lost packages "

I've never had a problem with tracking, and when out for delivery, I get it that day. So far, anyhow.[8D]

In fact, ordered some parts from Wisconsin on 3-19.
Just checked, package arrived at my PO at 8:04 today, and by 8:49 was out for delivery. It's in my mailbox now.[8D]
