I'm having a GIANT bowl of it,right now. It's amazingly good and so easy to make.
I went to Publix last night and bought the big gallon tub of vanilla ice cream.I compared the price per oz.with their half gallon carton and it's insanely less expensive than buying it by the 1/2 gallon.
The gallon bucket was 5.6 cents per Oz. and the 1/2 gallon was 17.5 cents per Oz.
I'll be buying it by the gallon from now on.Their is NO WAY it will go to waste!!![:D][:D][:p]

Check the fat content.... bet the gal jug has 10% fat, and the 1/2 gal carton has 14% to 17% fat.

Fat makes the better ice cream.[:p][:p][:p]

me and Stormy used to pig out on gallon tubs of ice cream. never could get the temp in the freezer right, it was either too soft or too hard, so we would eat it all right there when it came from the store. it's a lot more fun when you share it with your dog.

I don't know how well dogs can handle caffeine, but I know they like flavor in their food just as much as people do.

I've never had coffee ice cream yet but one of the local coffee shops puts out an amazing mocha milk shake. Two shots of expresso in it and you get cooled off and ramped up at the same time.[^]

    WRONG!!!
    It's made exactly the same.
18% butter fat in either the gallon or 1/2 gallon.EXACTLY the same recipe/formula...

It sounds like it would be tasty. I'll likely give it a try in the coming days.
    What's next?

Gelato has less fat, less air whipped into it.

Gelato has no air whipped into it,it is also much lower in fat.It tastes creamier for the lack of air....
