They are trying so hard.

Do you really think they are that far out of touch or do they think they can still pander to the far left and expect it to trickle down?

They do rely on MONEY to exist right? Time for the sponsors to bail on them.

I see on social media lots of praise for Trump's fast actions, yet the media critics would have you believe he is Satan.

The media said his first few Executive orders didn't address the wall, he puts out an order that addresses the wall and they say it's no good. LOL
Why don't we go to school and work on the weekends and take the week off!

The DEMOCRAT party owns and controls most of the media and news services: AP, CNN, NYT, Bloomberg. USA today. CBS, MSNBC, ABC, Reuters.

A growing majority of us refuse to consider anything they publish as factual and many of us avoid these days. Sooner or later, advertisers are going to get it.

my guess is they still think they have the popular vote, which they would think makes it the majority of the population. If you add in those who didn't vote, and exclude california, I think the majority is still behind Trump, they just can't/won't bring themselves to see it.

Taking that statement one step further, if you discounted all the democrats that voted against him , Trump would virtually have almost 100% approval rating [:D]

Considering how wrong they all were, and were virtually handing the election to Hildabeast before s single ballot was cast, how do you expect them to do an about face?

When sponsors leave and flow to honest, accurate reporting, the industry will change. It may happen to late to save the media as it now stands. This group is toast.

Please bear in mind that the business of the media has, for some time, been primarily entertainment , not news and information: all driven by ratings in order to attract sponsorship. It always comes down to money, like most things in this world.

Sure, it is about money AND power. With a few "free speech" rulings in the SCOTUS, the media found a "trump" card to say what they wish to sensationalize events. People seem quite interested in train wrecks.

The entertainment, such as a good movie, got pushed out of the way. Social media has now taken the place of news covering train wrecks, they have boots on the ground. Broadcast TV has to change or die.

Trump can appoint a good fcc chair and this could really take a different look. Maybe some competition on the air space would be a good thing. That will squeeze the cable companies to put out some better product as well.

A couple years back there was a bill pushed through in the wee hours, without hearings, which allowed big conglomerates to buy out the smaller guys in the same market. I imagine the Trump team is aware of this, but am curious to what his actions may be in regard to it.

He is going to defund pbs, so I think he is going to "end run" the media. I believe his methods could be both clever and sinister, but legal.

They sleep with each other 24/7. One would not know what to do without the other.
    What's next?
