It looks like you could change out the cylinder for a normal .22lr cylinder effectively getting a .22lr without an FFL.

I asked the same question, but the firing pin is different for C&B than it is for a rimfire.

Since it is black powder, it's not considered a firearm. Opening the door to conceal carry without a license. So said the dealer anyways. Not sure I'd risk it. But...

Is the firing pin changeable as well? Or is the location different?

completely different animal. It's a 3/16 circle that falls on the cap.
