    I have found stats that show Montana Is worse than Chicago or even Baltimore.

    Not so much here in our town, but our news comes from Orlando
    and on the morning news there's one every day. Sometimes two,
    or three, but at least one every day. Without going into detail
    I must also say there is a huge racial aspect to it as well.[V]

    Their is so much killin going on in Palm Beach County,they don't even talk about it on the news.I think it's a ("Chamber of commerce thing")
    5 this week in Lake Park alone.It's a town south of me.Predominantly black.

    WOW!!! Take a look at this page of stats. about West Palm Beach crime rates compared to the rest of the Country!!! DAYUMMmmm!!

    That I'm aware of we've had just two since 1993.
    Both times it was the same POS hothead responsible.

    Murders are very rare, and do not seem to be increasing.

    Our population is approximately 90% white, not that race makes a difference.
    Freedom and a submissive populace cannot co-exist.

    The number isn't up around here but it is interesting. Last week there was a body found in some brush next to a motel. Just a pile of bones mostly. One story was that it was tied to a tree and be-headed. There was a missing man reported from WV in June. There was also the lower half of a body found around a truck stop in the southern part of our county. It turned out to be another guy from WV. I haven't heard what the story was on that one. Interstate 79 goes through our county and can bring the crazies.

    Portland is on track to set a record for gang shootings. Not sure about how many died. Poor marksmanship.

    The little town I live in SE of Portland has had two murders over the last ten years or so.

    Our town is about 99% white. No murders that I can ever remember, except what the NY and Philly mob dump here. We are a favorite dumping ground for them. Found three bodies myself.You can leave the keys in your cars and your doors unlocked here still, even though we don't. Our mayor was black, but he lived in another town. Best damn mayor we ever had and I miss Tony. He welcomed Donna and I into the neighborhood, when we were kids.

    Urban areas seem to be a mess. However if one were to only pay attention to the national media they would think the sky was falling on a daily basis. Much of what is on the national reporting doesn't seem to translate to local actuality.

    See they base the Numbers off of number of people number of killings. Since you start with a lower number it doesn't take many for yours to seem bad.

    Alaska on this chart I saw was even worse than you are.

    Saw it again today Alaska was the worst state.


    They also just had it on the news today Since July We have had 12 people killed. With lots of Stabbings and they lived.

    In Yakima it's mainly Brown on Brown. Although we have had a few oddball homicides the last few years. Worst was a home Invasion triple homicide. Methhead broke in and killed the elderly couple & another. . They caught the guy and due to police and DA screwups he basically walked on the murder charge only getting a possesion of stolen property & weapons charge.

    Seems Durham is having a rash of them, mostly black on black, and drug related.
