thats a bunch of PC BS. The Mexican government doesn't want to control the flow of illegals into the US. The last think ol' Foxy wants is a bunch of Mexicans stuck in Mexico without work and realizing how corrupt his government is, he doesn't want a rebellion on his hands.

    Ya, right.

quote:Mr. Kyl said Mr. Fox's "pre-emptive threats" to file lawsuits on behalf of those crossing the border unlawfully "is hardly helpful, since it presumes that illegal aliens have more of a right to break American law than American citizens have to peacefully assist authorities in enforcing it."

Lets face it. Little will be done except making them legal citizens.
No record check of them falsifying records and S.S. numbers which is
a felony. Much to much trouble to bother checking so it is the easy way out each 10 years to grant amnesty. I'm glad I wont be alive for the next batch to give amnesty to. Luckily I have had the best times in this country even with the big depression and serving in WW 2. I just
feel sorry for the baby boomers and their children. I feel I have had
the best of it and its nearing time to leave soon. My generation fought
good fights but time and tide of crooked politicians seem to have won.
I cant but help but wonder how easily these newer generations gave up
so quickly and put up the white flag of surrender.

well.... make sure they take plenty of Ma-Deuces...... and are preparerd to use them.

We need to start using lethal force at the border, and cut the welfare benefits (money per child, free emergency room care[which results in them visiting the emergency room for all their health care needs, even jsut a simple cough], which translates to free health care, food stamps, durastically lowered income tax, etc), and deporting those reported to officials alreayd in the US.

I dont want them to stay, but if we could really cut off the flow, it would be a good enough compromise. didnt we give a whole bunch of them amnesty back in the 80's? amnesty now, then tougher laws(which wont be enforced) is just gonna result in amnesty for another 20 million a decade from now.

If we took our troops out of iraq, put them on the border, and told them to open fire on those spotted crossing, deport those we find in the US (instead of allowing illegals to sue in our courts over harrassment etc, or telling you to shut up and go away when you report a known illegal), amnesty for those already here would be an agreeable compromise.

I just know in this bargain, the amnesty part will be held up, but the stopping the flow and deporting any more, will fall by the wayside.

It would take one * of a gesture of force along our border to get me to support a compromise, I would need to hear of firefights with the paramilitary drug smugglers(or just corrupt Real Mexican Military drug smugglers), border patrols opening fire on people trying to evade arrest and deportation along the border, and so forth.

Everyone needs to remember too, that Mexico's president wants that flow of money from the U.S. to keep going to his country. That money is makeing him personally richer.

That being said, we also need to stop that flow of money! If these people want to send their money back to mexico it needs to be limited to maybe 2% of their income or something like that. I feel this is a given no matter what country we are talking about. The only way more than $100 should leave this country is if you are recieving goods in its place!

All it would take is a few brave Americans to hit ebay and buy some ex-military uniforms and start a war with Mexico...they would think it was the US Army.

LOL I know I shouldn't think this is funny... But for some reason I do. For some reason I think war with mexico would not necessarily be a bad thing. They are like a delinquent child that needs a royal * kicking.

It's about time. It's about 30 years late. I guess the illegals have finally reached the northeast. Here in the southwest it has been obvious for a long time.

I can certainly see some advantages of using the military
along the border - especially with putting the lid on
Mexican Army and drug dealer's incursions onto U.S.
soil. ... BUT, I'll believe it when I see it! I'm sure it's just
more poop the Gov't wants us to digest - EXCEPT, if
the number 1,500, that has been floated is their projected
number of troops! IF THAT is the 'magic' number' that they
are talking about ... they are just plain delusional![:D]

CA sucks said, "We need to start using lethal force at the border,.."

I wholeheartedly agree and I further submit that American citizens, not JUST military/LEO's have the right, NO, the RESPONSIBILITY to defend the sovereign borders of OUR Country from the invaders!

and, "I dont want them to stay, but if we could really cut off the flow, it would be a good enough compromise...."

I disagree with this statement as strongly as I agree with the other! There should be NO COMPROMISE, period! This is OUR Country! Come here legally our be prepared to suffer the consequences, regardless of how long you've hidden successfully, what you've "contributed" to this Nation, etc. If you entered the USA illegally, YOU ARE A CRIMINAL, and will remain as such until you've been prosecuted to the full extent of the law (READ: DEPORTED!) I give less than a damn about the potential "cost", in any terms of deporting ALL illegal aliens that cannot be "persuaded" to leave of their own accord. I'd be willing to allow the gov't to buy bus tickets/meals for those willing to leave and "come back later", using the legal, approved method of immigrating.
