Purchase the coupon and then mail it in for deatails on how to get free gasoline? Sounds like any number of make a fortune while working in the comfort of your own home magazine advertisements.

The auction title "Free Gasoline!" is misleading. What you get is not "free gasoline"; what you get is a coupon. But even the coupon is not for "free gasoline"; it's not even for "free information for getting free gasoline"; it's for "free information for getting started getting free gasoline". Such information could very likely be "Make enough money with a scam like this one to pay for all your gasoline".
