I went to the store here that sells Apple Computers...No iMac's in stock...they sell them as soon as they hit the shelf. They had one Apple Laptop for $1700...but I wanted a desktop. The lady said she had Mac Mini's and brought out this itty bitty box.....I said no not interested in that thinking it was Ipod kinda thing.

Mac Mini's are desktop computers!.....Well I'll be. 6.5" x 6.5" x 2 inches.

Looks like I'll be going back to the Apple Store tomorrow. Anyone else have a Apple?

have an old iMac running Debian Linux as a server at home... and I've gotten quite a few folks to buy Macs (either the mini or smallest iBook) in the past year.

I've been drivin' a Mac since the Mac Plus probably twenty years ago. Now I'm on a desktop iMac G5 ... quite the machine! I wouldn't go anyother way.[:D] I got my iMac G5 about nine months ago and I'm mighty glad that I got 'er!

I say, if they're sold out, just wait!

Wow, small package for a desktop computer. I guess it still has all
    of the basic PC functions?
One of my main objections to mac is that they will not work with
some chats, such as paltalk..unless they've solved that issue.
