I've seen one at Wal-ofchina-mart but that's it. Don't know anyone who has one and don't see buying one myself. Don't get me wrong, I love my Mossberg shotgun, but rifle?

This rifle is not a Mossberg made gun. It is the old Charter Arms 2000 Field King. Supposedly a decent shooting gun. Mossberg bought the patent from Charter and started selling them as the ATR 100 (All Terrain Rifle). I highly reccomend the Stevens model 200. I bought one for my sons birthday($239 at Dicks) and it is a good shooter. Slick bolt also.

long before I would buy the mossberg I would look at the stevens 200, made by savage.....same bbl and action....no accutrigger .....sposed to be the best bang for th4e buck out there.....I've seen them compare the 2 a few times in the gun rags and the stevens comes ahead every time....especially in the accuracy dept.

Looking at the ones on GB here, the Rem and the Mossy look virtually identical.
