This weekend is special.Especially for me.Is it for you?
Our dead heroes are gone.Every single person over every single war, every battle, every single combat event that has given his life for our country is a hero as far as I am concerned. Is there a greater
sacrifice? I, and I am certain millions of other Americans feel this way.I realize that when I watch Saving Private Ryan, Black Hawk Down and some others I cannot help being broken up because somewhere an American serviceman has experienced these same circumstances as portrayed.
May God bless America and each person in our military and law enforcement and every person who goes forth to protect us.

Most people are proud of the state they live in. I'm proud of Tennessee. I'm proud of it's History, like Andrew Jackson and Davy Cockett. i'm proud of the fact that we don't have a income tax, but Texas is something different.

The people from Texas have never really changed. They are the ones that defended the Alamo and dug for black gold that changed this country forever.

I'm sitting here in my livingroom looking out my front window seeing the American flag flying in the wind and I am proud of my country the same way Texans are proud of Texas. It's a feeling you can't quite put your finger on. Your heart swells up and you feel like defending her like those Texan's defened the Alamo. With everything you got.

We all have a little bit of Texas in us when it come to our country.

I just got off a United Airlines flight this AM and was surprised that they asked everyone to remember and support our troops for the holiday. How many companies are doing that, not many I bet!
