PTR-91's get re stocked so I try and buy one. The site is acting funny. Every time I input the info they want and click save to go to the payment form it resets to the beginning. I email them three days ago and basically I am told I need to follow directions. I do again and I get further. I get to input my Credit Card info but when I click save it resets to the beginning and I don't get an order confirmation. SO I send em what I get and tell them again it's not working. They ask for my number to call me and walk em through. I send and no one ever calls. Get home after work and re send my number with a note that it would be nice if someone could take my order on the phone before they run out.
Just checked, they ran out.
Customer service at it's best. I realize things are crazy busy but I should be able to order one way or another specially if their site is all screwed up.

you don't want one anyway.

I don't believe I've ever agreed with anything DRP has ever said. Until now.
YMMV.
if the system itself wasnt working, how did they sell out? there seems to be a reluctance in taking orders via any other avenue than their online system, so how did all the other people get their orders in? why would their system single out your computer?
while its possible its a known problem with a particular browser(that does happen a statistically relevant amount of the time), their it guy(s) would know about it right quick and they'd be asking you on the phone "are you using IE, chrome, firefox(with the dreaded superfish or whatever he was babbling about) etc" and you'd know what the problem was.
It might have been something I did not do right but I was in contact with them and they could have helped me but chose not to.
Not very happy with them right now. After sending them my phone number twice I do not haver a call from them and I do not even have a reply to my email telling me they are out. It's like I don't matter anymore.
At some point things will get back to normal and there may come to pass the predictions of a glut of inventory and nose dive in prices where places might be hard pressed for business. Playing it this way during the good times is no way to ensure you will have business in during the slow times.
I did have some trouble getting on Atlantic since Dec. Assuming for the same reasons.
