As of 8 AM tomorrow i am 20 yeha. Not much of a big deal. Just another day. I just hope that in the next twenty years i can learn twice as much.

Dude, I remeber how excited I was to be turning 21 so I could by my own handguns instead of getting other people to buy them for me. Now I'm trying to figure out what happened the last 5 years between 21 and upcoming 26. I think I'm about to have a mid life crisis.

one more year and you'll be legally able to buy alcohol and handguns (hopefully you won't use both items at the same time [;)]) so it'll be quite fun.

Ah, to be able to trade all my guns, just to be 20 again!

If only I could be 20, and know all I know now....

So, what do you want for your GB birthday present?
I have some .22 ammo that isn't getting any younger.
And a carton of .40S&W [250 rounds] but no gun for it. You want it?

I remember 20 quite well. You will make memories that will last a lifetime. You can do anything, go anywhere, love as much as you please. The twenties are where you step up to the plate and take your position in life. Your parents have prepared you for this moment all through your existance.
I'm sure you have heard the saying "Life is a journey, enjoy the ride"? Well, you have your ticket in hand.

    Happy Birthday!

My 20th was the worst birthday I ever had ... my teen years were over... the end of an era. Kinda depressed because I'm no longer a kid, but in the eyes of the law, not an adult either [B)]

Old enough to vote and go to war, but not old enough to drink or buy handguns ... That was 28 years ago, and I still think they're stupid laws.

I've never been bothered by a birthday since [:D]

I think I went through mid life crisis in my late twenties. I'm not sure if it hits some folks earlier than others, but I went through something then...and that is the best way I can explain it.

When I was 17 and in the army I was able to buy beer on base. Did the rules change?

As mentioned earlier, the next 20 will go faster. If I had a chance to do it over again, I would have invested a little more, drank a little less, and taken better care of myself....[;)]

Happy birthday, you are entering a very interesting and important time of your life.

I missed the draft (and Viet Nam) by 4 months, and I didn't enlist. I knew several guys that went and some that didn't come back. Although I would have gone if called, I had no desire to go. Sometimes I wonder how it would have changed me but mostly I considered myself lucky.

a friend of mine who is in his early 30s now said that oftentimes barenders would ignore the ID rule when he was in the military. So if the rules changed it was recently
