When is TURKEY season????

Turkey season ended about a month ago here....I heard it is just starting in other areas. Is this true? Where can I go to see what "critter" is in danger in other areas? I thought the farmers alminac may be something, but never can remember to check. I was just wondering for the sales of guns I am out of season on in my area.

I missed one monday.Watched a half dozen toms for three hours stutting in front of three hens.Always just out of range.When it looked like the hens were going to leave the area with toms in tow,I gave a call and they all came in strutting. One big clump of toms.Finally ,one separated from the group,but they were too close.Too close! Thats my excuse for missing.

Where I hunt,it runs from 4/1 to 5/14.(Lampasas County,Texas)

Haven't gotten to go so far,but then I'm told the huntin' hasn't been very good this year for some reason.

In WI, I was hunting turkeys the second week of April. In Colorado, it doesn't start until May I think.

Different states have different rules, so you'll just have to do a lot of surfing on the 'Net.
