Awww come on, we've got cheap hotels and this area is just RIPE for gun dealing that weekend, what with no gun shows here for about 20 years... Why I'll bet there will be $20 shotguns and $5 pistols flowing like wine!!!

Wow. All six people in Burlington will show up, too! [:D]

Sorry, I've driven to Burlington before on business (prior career). That's a long, long, long, long drive just to see some overpriced guns, beef jerky and t-shirts.

    But, have fun.

Gee Spanielsells, maybe you'd like to come back for another visit? Thank you for jumping up and thrashing my attempt to inform some folks on a GUN BOARD about a GUNSHOW... Sorry if small towns aren't your 'thing', I guess I could go on and on about the good that this particular sponsor is doing in his non-profit org. for disabled kids regarding outdoor activities that you would have a hard time finding around 'the city', but somehow I'll bet my point would be lost. Maybe you'd like to complain about our pheasant hunting, clean air and low cost of living too? Oh well, I digress....

It has little to do with a small town and a lot to do with how crappy gun shows have become over the last several years. You watch, the Burlington gunshow won't be any different -- there will be more tables selling t-shirts, native american artwork and beef jerky than there will be gun dealers.

I have no problems with small towns. I visit Small Town, America fairly regularly. I rather like Small Town, America.

Good luck with your gun show. Enjoy the beef jerky.
