Ever have something small annoy you to the point that you wanted to kick something? I have had a twitch under my let eye for over 2 weeks now. Thinking it was lack of sleep I tried to sleep in last weekend. Didn't help a bit.

Could be stress, but I don't have a means to get rid of what is causing it so I just have to live with the stress. (Could use a few prayers if anyone has any to spare.)

I'm almost at my wit's end. Its just a small thing but it is right in front of me everywhere I look, literally, well actually its on the left but that is splitting hairs.

Anyone with a good remedy?

We can never completely get rid of things that cause us stress but we can do things that lessen the stress' impact on us. Most here would agree that shooting is one of them. Regardless, prayers from NY were sent. [:)]

I've had a "random muscle twitch" for 40 years. I dunno, I think a few too many B-40s when I was a young man. Have been meaning to talk to the VA about it someday, and see if they can do anything, but the paperwork has kept me away so far. Have been to a couple of private docs and therapists, and they pretty much prescribed a drink or two in the evening. So Austin20 isn't too far from the mark.

The twitch under your left eye is something different, a totally involuntary flutter, right? Put your finger on the spot, press, and count to 20. Then pour yourself a drink anyway.

I tried Merlot a couple of nights, Michelob one night, Crown on ice a couple of nights, some of the hubbie's home brew one night, chasing the hubbie around the bedroom until he caught me nights and some mornings as well......

I have raked leaves and hauled brush to physical exhaustion to encourage good sleep. Checked to make sure there wasn't a full moon.

    Still have the eye twitch.

Guess I need to head to the woods and kill something.

I get the same thing from time to time.
Usually disappears just as quick as it came on, and DOES seem to be related to stress.

I had it one time that lasted almost a month,.....thought I was gonna lose it. Next morning, gone.

You have my sympathy, as it can drive you nuts.

Eat three bananas and report back.

No, I'm not making this up. Low potassium is frequently responsible for muscle twitches like this.

    Try it.

    Is it a 'Dreyfus' twitch?

If so shooting someone something might very well work.
