DON'T BUY PEPSI IN THE NEW CAN!
Don't buy Pepsi in the new can. Pepsi has a new "patriotic" can
coming out with pictures of the Empire State Building, and the
Pledge of Allegiance on them.
However, Pepsi left out two little words on the pledge,
"Under God."
Pepsi said they didn't want to offend anyone.
In that case, we don't
want to offend anyone at the Pepsi corporate office, either!
So if we don't buy any Pepsi product, they will not be offended
when they don't receive our money that has the words
"In God We Trust" on it.

That is the way the ORIGINAL pledge was, "under God" was a knee-jerk reaction to the commies around the McCarthy era
But I don't give a damn either way, I was a coke guy, am a coke guy, and will be a coke guy until I die.
I suppose you got this lame assed thing in a e-mail from a friend. It's like 3 years old. Snopes buddy, Snopes.

The cans DO exist, in fact, I have one. But, It's a Dr. Pepper can, not Pepsi. It has "One Nation...Indivisible" printed across the top of the can. I guess it would have been tough to put the whole pledge across the top.
I vaguely remember the Dr. Pepper cans but I didnt make the connection until I saw your post and then looked at snopes.
...that's what it says on the can!
