Brought Home 2 New Convertibles Today....

Nope, not cars. BLACKHAWKS! .357/9mm (4 5/8") and .45LC/.45ACP (5.5 "). I was unsure about getting blue over stainless, but I have to say, I really like the look of them in blue.

I have a Super Blackhawk Bisley Hunter, but have never had a single action revolver with the traditional grip. It feels great - can't wait to shoot these things! [:p]

    I always hated Ruger super blackhawks and blackhawks, until about two years ago. Now I really want one. My dad and my friend Paul, both, just bought convertibles. My dad got the 357/38 and my friend got the 44,45 long colt I believe. I love the grips on them. I never liked them because the handle came up under the cylinder and made the recoil come up in your face on the more powerful Blackhawks. I can now control that and therefor like them much better. I guess that is why I am a S&W guy. Congrats on a really nice gun. Pictures man, pictures[^][^][^][^][^][^][^]

    Are 9 mm projectiles accurate through a .357 barrel?

    I know it is only .003", but would think it may be noticeable.

    I have the 45 convertible and love it if I ever run into a good deal on the 357/9. Will probably add one of them into the accumulation

    Now those are proper pistols you have there, I love my Blackhawk and I'm always looking for another.

    If you want great accuracy with the 9mm barrel you will need to reload for it. It is very simple to use the .358 expander and load .358 bullets into the 9mm. I would love to try loading 9mm with a 158gr SWC over a case full of Unique.
